<p>Ingredients<br />
4 to 6 whole beets, scrubbed<br />
Salt<br />
Black pepper</p>
<p>Directions<br />
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut the tops and root ends off the scrubbed beets. Wrap each beet tightly in foil and bake for two hours, or until soft. Slide the skins off the baked beets. Slice them and serve with butter. Salt and pepper to taste.</p>
